Safeguarding for MTUKI Coaching Providers

Mountain Training UK & Ireland (MTUKI) is committed to safeguarding, promoting and supporting the protection and wellbeing of all children, young people and adults attending courses provided by Mountain Training UK & Ireland approved Providers.

Most Coaching scheme providers are existing providers for other national training organisations. Those that are existing providers and are therefore already compliant with Mountain Training safeguarding requirements are bound by the requirements of the organization (Mountain Training Cymru, England, Ireland or Scotland) they are approved by.

Those that are not existing providers for other organisations are required to declare if they deliver MTUKI courses to U18s or adults or a mix of age ranges and to submit to MTUKI their relevant safeguarding policy or policies.
