Sherpa Club Lecture Series
Sherpa Adventure Gear athletes Neil Gresham and Kenton Cool are giving a series of lectures at mountaineering clubs across the country this autumn. Tickets are very reasonable (between £6-£9.50 depending on the club) and proceeds will be split between the mountaineering club and Sherpa's charity
The Paldorje Education Fund.
Dates are as follows:
- Wednesday 29th October - Northumbria MC (Newcastle)
- thursday 30th October - Bassetlaw Hill & Mountain Club (Sheffield)
- Friday 31st October - Preston MC
- Saturday 1st November - Aberystwyth MC
- Sunday 2nd November - Cave and Crag (Lichfield)
- Wednesday 5th November - Oxford University MC
- Thursday 6th November - Cambridge Climbing and Caving Club
- Saturday 8th November - Wessex MC (nr Southampton)
Tickets can be bought from the mountaineering clubs in advance.
Come and talk to Mountain Training
We know you'll be inspired by listening to Neil and Kenton talk about their adventures and many of you might be thinking about doing some formal training. Our awards and skills courses cover all aspects of mountaineering from basic
hill skills to
coaching talented climbers and
instructing in the winter. Mountain Training is all about enabling you to become an independent mountaineer, coach the next climbing superstars or learn how to look after other people and share your passion for these addictive activities.
If you've got any questions about how to make it happen, there will be a Mountain Training representative at the lectures bursting with enthusiasm and able to advise you on the most appropriate pathway.
