Channel 4 Weather Documentary
We've been contacted by TV production company Raw TV who are making a documentary about the human element of the winter weather for Channel 4. In a nutshell, they want your videos of the weather and of you explaining how it impacts on your work or everday life. More details can be found below or you can contact Raw TV directly (email address below).
Raw TV wants footage of your personal weather experiences…
- Do you live in an area affected by bad winter weather?
- Does your job force you to work outside in harsh conditions?
- Is your home or livelihood at risk during episodes of bad weather?
Raw TV are producing a documentary for Channel 4 about extreme weather in Britain over the course of this winter.
We want to get a complete picture of the way that storms, snow, ice, rain, high winds and big waves can affect life for ordinary Britons – and so we’re asking you to share with us your documentation of the way in which bad winter weather affects your daily life.
If you live or work in an area affected by bad weather, we’re interested in seeing footage shot on your cameraphone, laptop or similar device.
Whether you’re a lorry driver whose vehicle sometimes gets stuck in snow drifts, or a homeowner whose house gets lashed by waves, or simply someone whose town is hit by a bad storm, we’d like to see what you can capture.
Please hold your cameraphone horizontally (landscape), like this…
At times, feature yourself in the footage. We want to hear your thoughts and feelings on the weather you’re experiencing: the impact it has on your job, your commute to work, your trip to the shops, the safety of your home etc.
Please send us your footage using the free transfer website
www.wetransfer.com using the email address

It’s a simple process, but if you need help please read the document below for guidance or email us.
