At Mountain Training we have access to reliable statistics with regards to the demographics of our qualification holders and skills scheme participants. We do not have access to comparable data for participation in the various activities broken down by discipline e.g. winter walking, summer walking, indoor roped climbing, outdoor bouldering etc. As a result, we are unable to ascertain whether the demographics of our qualification holders are representative of the participation base or not.

As we strive to increase the number of qualification holders from particular sections of the population, it would be very useful to know how we measure up and how big the pool is so that we can tailor our approach.
