Keswick Mountain Festival 2016
19th-22nd May
It's festival season and we've teamed up with the BMC and Lowe Alpine to bring you a tipi full of talks, tips, treats and tipples at
Keswick Mountain Festival. For those of you who've never been, Keswick Mountain Festival is a great celebration of the outdoors in the heart of the Lake District. It's a perfect blend of live music, films, speakers, outdoor activities and sporting events all in spectacular Crowe Park overlooking Derwent Water.
So whether you want to go for a walk, plan your next adventure or get inspired, the BMC Mountain Tipi has everything you need. We'll be there to answer any questions you might have about Mountain Training qualifications or how to improve your skills alongside all things so come and talk to us. Our experts include two inspiring Mountaineering Instructors; Rebecca Coles (expedition guru) from
...all but essential travel... and Simon Verspeak (adventure enthusiast) from
OranjeBergsport who are both delivering info sessions (mini lecture + Q&A) on planning an expedition and leading walks. See the full schedule below for the times of their sessions.
